A Brief History...

RV America traces its roots back to 1979. It was in this year that Ray Benyo pursued an appointment with Foremost Insurance Company. Although Ray had a thriving commercial insurance organization called Parkwood Insurance Agency, he saw the value of RV insurance, and began to book RV policies immediately. In 1983 Ray Benyo also pursued, and gained, an appointment with Progressive Insurance Company.

Several years later in 1987, a young professional by the name of Paul Bender joined Parkwood Insurance Agency. He was given the task of developing the RV department, and immediately set to work building relationships with RV dealers in the western United States. In 1992 Paul purchased Parkwood Insurance and restructured the RV department in an effort to become a leader in the RV insurance industry.

Now staffed by ten full-time agents and customer service representatives, RV America has completed a nationwide corporate licensing process which allows them to offer services to RV dealers and RV buyers nationwide. Paul Bender still guides RV America on a daily basis while pursuing a Master's Degree in communications from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California.
